Sarah Slusher Newest Nurse to Receive Daisy Award Recognition
Outstanding members of the Ohio’s Hospice staff are recognized every quarter with the Bouquet of Recognition Awards for going above and beyond in advocating for and serving hospice patients and families. RN Sarah Slusher of Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton is the recipient of the most recent Daisy Award, presented to members of our nursing staff.
A nurse colleague at a partnering long-term care facility wrote a glowing note about the work of Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton nurse Sarah Slusher. “Sarah has truly become an asset to my unit. She always goes above and beyond to help out staff with our Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton patients. The mentality is always ‘what more can I do?’ and she is the epitome of collaborative care. She always places patients first and works above and beyond to give patients the highest level of care along with comfort.”
“I am an advocate of Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton and will remain that way because of your staff. You always provide a higher standard that is displayed in any setting.”
We are blessed to have Sarah as a member of our clinical team and congratulate her on the well-deserved Daisy Award recognition. Thank you for your advocacy for patients and compassionate approach to patient care.
