Personal Care Specialist Jovet Sikora is the most recent recipient of the Sunflower Award. Outstanding members of the Ohio’s Hospice staff are recognized every quarter with the Bouquet of Recognition Awards for going above and beyond in advocating for and serving patients. 

The wife of one of our hospice patients praised how Jovet cared for both she and her husband. “She took wonderful care of my husband, and she also took care of me. She got me blankets and rearranged the furniture so I could get to everything.” As the wife would speak to her husband, Jovet would whisper in his ear to make sure he heard what was said. In expressing appreciation for Jovet’s care, she noted that she and her husband had been married for 56 years. “And Jovet made our time at hospice together something I will never forget.”
