Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare to Hold Butterfly Release on June 26
As a way to remember and honor loved ones, Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare will hold a butterfly release, presented by Wooster Color Point, on Sunday, June 26, 2 pm, at its Wooster location (1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH, 44691).
As part of the event, participants will release live butterflies in memory of their loved ones. “Our butterfly release memorial service is a meaningful and beautiful way to remember and honor family members and friends who are no longer with us,” said Katherine Ritchie, development director. “We are honored to offer the butterfly release memorial service to members of our community.”
All proceeds from this event support bereavement services through Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare Pathways of Hope program. Pathways of Hope offers support to families and friends of hospice patients and anyone who is grieving a loss. In addition, Pathways of Hope offers a summer grief camp for kids, individual counseling, and group workshops.
Registration is required. The cost is $15 for each butterfly and the deadline is Friday, June 17, 2022. Register online at: https://www.ohioshospicelifecare.org/event/2022-butterfly-release/ or call 330.264.4899 for more information. Sponsorship opportunities are still available.
