Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton to Host Annual 3k/5k Remembrance Walk on Oct. 21
Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton will host its annual 3k/5k Remembrance Walk on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023, at the campus of Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton (324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420).
Family members, friends and community members are invited to walk in honor or in memory of loved ones. Net proceeds benefit patient care and services at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton, including grief counseling; complementary therapies such as music, art, and massage; and financial assistance for patients unable to pay for their care.
Registration and T-shirt pick-up begin at 8:30 am, and the walk begins at 10 am. Memory walk signs will be displayed during the Remembrance Walk. Fruit and water will be available for walkers and participants. Awards will be given to the top individual and top team.
Registration for an individual is $25. Active military or Veterans can register for $20. Youth walkers, ages 12 and under, are $15 per person. A memory walk sign can be purchased for $20.
