Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton provides care to patients wherever they call home, whether that is at a private residence, a Hospice House, hospital inpatient care center, nursing home, or assisted living facility. When patients receive care in the comfort of their own home, the care team at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton partners with family members and the patient’s physicians to assure the highest quality of care. The care team offers education and support to caregivers, so they have peace of mind while embracing life’s journey with their loved one at home.
The Joint Commission’s standards are developed in consultation with healthcare experts and providers, measurement experts and patients. They are informed by scientific literature and expert consensus to help healthcare organizations measure, assess and improve performance. The surveyors also conducted onsite observations and interviews.
