National Hospice and Palliative Care Month: The Ohio’s Hospice Difference

Every day, our care teams witness the reality of love at the end of life.

National Hospice and Palliative Care Month November 2026

Wherever our patients call home, we’re there to help ease the burden of caregiving so families can focus on spending meaningful time together surrounded by comfort and peace. It looks like a hand on a shoulder, the relief of a pain-free breath, or a favorite song bringing a smile to someone in their final hours.

During National Hospice and Palliative Care Month, we celebrate the compassionate professionals who make these moments possible and thank the patients and families who trust us to be part of their journey. It is a privilege to honor each life story and provide care that brings comfort, dignity, connection and peace of mind when it matters most.

For nearly five decades, we have been leading the way in pioneering world-class supportive care and services that set the standard for not-for-profit, community-based hospice and palliative care.

Patients who choose Ohio’s Hospice also choose what their care looks like and where it happens. Our team will be there for patients and families so they don’t have to go at it alone.

As needs become more extensive, so does our care. As a not-for-profit, we don’t answer to owners and investors so we can pivot to make sure our patients always come first. We provide comfort and care to those who are grieving after their loved one dies, including care for our youngest grievers through special programs and grief camps.

This helps make the Ohio’s Hospice difference.
