Kiwanis Club of Wooster Recognizes Katherine Ritchie as Kiwanian of the Year
Congratulations to Katherine Ritchie! The Kiwanis Club of Wooster recently honored Katherine as its 2021-2022 Kiwanian of the Year. Katherine serves as the development director at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare, an affiliate of Ohio’s Hospice. Katherine leads philanthropic and community engagement for Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare.
The Kiwanian of the Year award is presented to a member who distinguishes themselves by exceptionally commendable participation in club activities throughout the past year. Katherine served as president of the Kiwanis Club of Wooster from 2020-2021. Kiwanis International is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the lives of children.
Katherine is an active Kiwanian in Wooster. She recently finished a four-year term on the Kiwanis board of directors. She also serves on several committees including programs, book sale and marketing.
In addition, Katherine is a severe weather shelter volunteer at the Salvation Army with the Wooster Homelessness Task Force. She is a volunteer with her children’s activities. Katherine is a Leadership Wooster Class of 2017 graduate, 2018 Wooster Citizen’s Police Academy graduate, and past board member for St. Mary School PTO.
