Annual Golf Outing Raises $30,000 for Patient Care and Services at Ohio’s Hospice of Central Ohio
The 24th annual Ohio’s Hospice of Central Ohio Golf Outing raised $30,000 for patient care and services for the not-for-profit hospice on June 18 at The Links at Echo Springs in Johnstown, Ohio.
More than 80 golfers participated in the golf outing. Along with a round of golf, the event included a grilled lunch by Doug’s Farside Catering, snacks and beverages, and prizes. The First Federal Savings of Newark golf team placed first, and Missy Miller’s golf team placed second in the outing.
“Community support is vital to our mission and invaluable to the patients and families whom we have the privilege of serving,” said Stacy Geller, vice president of philanthropic development at Ohio’s Hospice of Central Ohio. “We thank everyone who participated in this year’s golf outing. We also are grateful to our generous donors and sponsors for their support of Ohio’s Hospice of Central Ohio.”

The 25th annual Ohio’s Hospice of Central Ohio Golf Outing will be held on June 17, 2022.
Ohio’s Hospice of Central Ohio, an affiliate of Ohio’s Hospice, has provided a holistic, community-based approach to hospice care since 1982. With locations in Newark, Columbus, Lancaster and Zanesville, the not-for-profit organization serves nine counties in central Ohio and is dedicated to supporting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses. In addition, two inpatient care centers at Licking Memorial Hospital and The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center are available for symptom management.
