Hospice of Central Ohio Holds 23rd Annual Golf Outing to Benefit Patients and Families
Hospice of Central Ohio is hosting its 23rd annual golf outing on Friday, Aug. 14, at The Links at Echo Springs (5940 Loudon Street Rd., Johnstown, OH 43031).
Proceeds from the event will benefit patient and family services for the not-for-profit, community-based Hospice of Central Ohio.
“We are thankful for the continued support from the community and those who are joining us for the golf outing,” said Renee Sparks, general manager and executive vice president of Hospice of Central Ohio. “Their support allows us to provide superior care and superior services to anyone in our community facing end-of-life illnesses, regardless of their ability to pay.”
This year, registration for the golf outing includes a golf cart, greens fee, on-course snacks and beverages, a boxed lunch, and grand prize raffle.
Due to COVID-19, Hospice of Central Ohio and The Links at Echo Springs will be following the state guidelines put forth for golf courses by the Ohio Department of Health (ODH), including maintaining physical distancing and practicing good hand hygiene. Participants are encouraged to wear face masks, but it is not required.
Registration is now open. To register or receive more information about the event, please call 740.788.1503.
Sponsors of the golf outing include Granville Investment Group, Licking Memorial Hospital, The Energy Cooperative/Operation Round Up, Englefield Oil Co., Glass Waters Ski Club, Kaiser Aluminum, McGohan Brabender and Matesich Distributing Co.
Hospice of Central Ohio, an affiliate of Ohio’s Hospice, has provided a holistic, community-based approach to hospice care since 1982.
