Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare Thanks Staff with Drive-In Breakfast
Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare recently held a drive-in breakfast event to thank its staff for their dedication during the COVID-19 pandemic. Each staff member received a hot breakfast delivered to their car.
“We wanted to offer a hearty breakfast time for our work family and the family that supports each staff member,” said Kurt Holmes, executive director of Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare. “The drive-in event was meant to show appreciation for our staff for all they do every day to serve our patients and their families.”
Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare encouraged staff members to bring their families to the drive-in and enjoy breakfast together. Staff members had the choice of a breakfast casserole or a croissant sandwich and hash brown, prepared by culinary staff. The leadership team at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare provided car-side service in order to maintain physical distancing.
Staff were also given “Home of a Healthcare Hero” yard signs to display at their homes.
“We are proud of our staff,” Holmes said. “This was a way to recognize their hard work and dedication and to thank them for their efforts every day and especially during the pandemic.”
