More than $22,000 was raised by 200 participants at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton’s 22nd annual Cosmic Bowl on Nov. 3 at Poelking-Woodman Lanes in Kettering. Over the past 22 years, the event has raised almost $1 million for patient care.

The bowl for hospice event benefited patients and families served by Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton. The family event included two hours of cosmic bowling, an event T-shirt, complimentary pizza from Papa John’s and door prizes.

Proceeds from the event support patient care at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton, a not-for-profit hospice care provider, which has served patients and families in the Dayton region for more than 40 years in their homes, extended care and assisted living facilities, and the Hospice House in Dayton.

“We would like to thank everyone for coming out and making the cosmic bowl another huge success,” said Sydney Truax, development assistant with Ohio’s Hospice. “We also would like to thank all of our sponsors for their support.”
