Community Releases More than 210 Butterflies in Honor of Loved Ones at Ohio’s Hospice Loving Care Butterfly Release
More than 210 butterflies were released in honor of loved ones at the Ohio’s Hospice Loving Care Celebrating Life’s Stories® Butterfly Release on Sunday, Aug. 20, 2023, at the French Hen Farm.
The Butterfly Release raised nearly $12,000 to support patient care and services at the not-for-profit organization. More than 148 community members gathered to honor loved ones and remember special people who have touched their lives. For those who were not able to attend, butterflies were released on their behalf.
“We are thankful for the community’s support for our mission,” said Stacy Geller, vice president of philanthropic development at the Ohio’s Hospice Foundation. “We were honored that so many community members joined us to remember those who have touched our lives.”
Ohio’s Hospice Loving Care is grateful to its Monarch Sponsor, French Hen Farm; its Buckeye Sponsors, Beachy Barns and Fraternal Order of Eagles 3506 Auxiliary; and its Painted Lady Sponsors, Accurate Healthcare, A-1 Advanced Plumbing, Inc., Los Mariachis Mexican Restaurant, Cooley Custom Cabinetry, and Eberle-Fisher Funeral Home and Crematory.
