Community Raises nearly $25,000 for Patient Care and Services at Annual Ohio’s Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties Remembrance 5k Walk/Run
Ohio’s Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties raised nearly $25,000 at its annual 5k Remembrance Walk/Run on Aug. 26, 2023, at North Park in Springboro, Ohio.
Two-hundred community members, friends and family members walked in honor and memory of their loved ones. Net proceeds from the event benefited patient care and services at the not-for-profit organization, including grief counseling, complementary therapies such as music, art, and massage, and financial assistance for patients unable to pay for their care.
Ohio’s Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties would like to extend warm thanks to Darlene Ferris, Angie McCloe and their team, Faith Uniters, who raised $13,800 toward patient care and services.
“We are grateful for the community’s support of the hospice mission,” said Lori Igel, president of the Ohio’s Hospice Foundation. “Thanks to the generosity of our community members, friends and family, we can continue to provide superior care and superior services to all who we have the privilege of serving.”
