Community Invited to Creative Art Event at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton to Honor Veterans
The Pathways of Hope Grief Support Center at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton is offering a creative way for community members to honor Veterans this Veteran’s Day.
On November 6, community members are invited to bring photos, pins, and other armed forces related memorabilia to be used in creating a shadowbox to honor loved ones who have served in the armed forces. The event is free and open to the public and shadowboxes will be provided. Pathways of Hope Art Coordinator Annette Burkart will lead participants in creating an art collage of display for the shadowbox as a remembrance to honor the Veteran.
The event takes place from 6:30-8:30 pm at the William and Dorothy Yeck Family Grief Counseling Center on the campus of Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue. Registration is required by November 2. To register, please call Pathways of Hope at 937.258.4991.
