Ohio’s Hospice Recognized With Blue Prism’s Customer Excellence Award
Ohio’s Hospice, a partnership of mission-driven, not-for-profit hospices in Ohio committed to a shared vision of strengthening and preserving community-based hospices, was recently recognized with the “Best Newcomer” award at the Blue Prism Customer Excellence Awards 2021.
The Blue Prism Customer Excellence Awards recognize companies’ commitment to innovation and creativity by utilizing Blue Prism’s intelligent automation systems. This year, there were more than 190 submissions. The winners were selected by a panel of judges, who are industry analysts, consultants and journalists.
“Ohio’s Hospice is honored and privileged to be selected as an award winner at the Blue Prism Customer Excellence Awards,” said Amy Wagner, president of Ohio’s Hospice. “As we continue to find innovative solutions to provide world-class care, Blue Prism’s automation software has assisted us in furthering our mission of providing superior care and superior services to those we have the privilege of serving.”
In early 2020, Ohio’s Hospice began looking for ways to increase efficiency and effectiveness of its care and services. Shortly before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ohio’s Hospice partnered with Blue Prism to implement six digital process automations. These automations delivered substantial cost savings, promoted more timely care to patients, increased operational efficiencies, and improved regulatory compliance.
Through this strategic partnership, Ohio’s Hospice is able to expand on its mission while improving quality of care and increasing access to care for patients in the 44 counties the not-for-profit hospice organization serves across the state of Ohio. In addition, Ohio’s Hospice worked with Blue Prism to establish a series of automations that improved patient care through faster insurance approvals, quicker admissions, and up-to-date data for clinicians.
Ohio’s Hospice recognizes and thanks the efforts of the following staff members for their contributions to designing, testing and supporting these automations:
Jessica Andrew | Heather Craft | Leslie Hager | Kelsey Kroger | Micah Selby |
