A Heart of Compassion: Ina Yutzy Marks 20 Years of Dedicated Service at Ohio’s Hospice
Ina Yutzy, RN float at Ohio’s Hospice Loving Care, is celebrating 20 years with the not-for-profit organization this fall.
“I have been committed to our mission because I have a compassionate heart with a desire to help others, which fostered a dream to become a nurse at a young age,” Ina said.
Ina began her career as an orthopedic nurse. She placed her career on hold to raise her three children. As she began thinking about returning to the field, her father became ill and received hospice care.
“I had interest and opportunity to be mentored in the hospice setting soon after that, and I have been blessed to be able to share with hundreds of patients and families in the past 20 years,” Ina said. “I have been able to use my gift and minister to many throughout the years, and yet I feel I have been the one greater blessed to interact with so many dear people and their families at such a vulnerable time in their lives.”
Ina joined Ohio’s Hospice Loving Care when it was a small agency and has watched it grow throughout her career. The caring team is one she is proud to be a part of.
“To be at the bedside and assist someone to make their final passage a peaceful and blessed experience is truly sacred ground,” Ina said. “I have truly been privileged to be a small part of helping our patients and families as they embrace the love and care they give their loved ones at the end of life.”
