Staff Milestone: Roselle “Pixie” Furbee Celebrates 20 Years With Ohio’s Hospice
Pixie started her hospice journey as a volunteer in 1999. Her dedication to providing superior care and superior service to patients and their families led her to become a Volunteer Coordinator in 2004.
“I have been blessed in my career to be given many opportunities to serve the organization,” she said.
Pixie has been involved with the Veteran recognition ceremonies and was on the steering committee for the Veterans Memorial at the Truman House in New Philadelphia.
“I have been involved in many organizations and fundraising events with hospice and throughout the community,” she said. “My husband, Allan, and my children have always had a hospice heart.”
With their efforts and the help of friends and family, Pixie says that they have raised $72,473.83 for patient care over the last eight years.
“The journey has not always been an easy one, but I am glad God put me on this path and continues to give me the strength to do what I need to do each and every day,” Pixie remarked.
Thank you, Pixie, for your continued support of our mission!
