Ohio’s Hospice Raises $65k at Keys of Life Dueling Piano Event
Ohio’s Hospice held its Keys of Life dueling piano performance with the Cleveland Keys at Carillon Historical Park in Dayton.
More than 200 people attended the event, raising $65,000, allowing Ohio’s Hospice to continue to provide support and care to our community members during their final stage of life. We are grateful for the ongoing support of our community.
“The Ohio’s Hospice Foundation raises funds that support under or uninsured care, Pathways of Hope grief counseling to loved ones, and additional therapies that aren’t traditionally covered by insurance,” said engagement officer, Sydney Munch.
The Cleveland Keys provided entertainment for the evening with their 3-piece dueling piano group. They collected tips for song requests which they donated back to Ohio’s Hospice. Cocktail Claw joined the event, doing a wine pull, a fun and exciting twist to our childhood claw machine.
Pictures were donated for sale and display at the event by Barbara Bailey, a patient of Ohio’s Hospice and a mother of a board member. Barbara truly embraced Ohio’s Hospice’s outlook on living life more fully.
“As a self-taught photographer, traveling around the world later in life, her excitement and joy of exploring the world is felt through her photographs,” Sydney said. “Event participants loved seeing the world through Barbara’s eyes while contributing to Ohio’s Hospice’s mission.”
This bi-annual event will be held again in 2026.
