Remembrance Walk 2024: Ohio’s Hospice Hosts Annual Walk to Honor Loved Ones
Ohio’s Hospice will host its annual Remembrance Walk on Saturday, Oct. 26, at its Dayton campus (324 Wilmington Ave.).
The event invites family members, friends and community members to walk in honor or memory of loved ones. Net proceeds benefit patient care and services at Ohio’s Hospice, including grief counseling, complementary therapies such as music, art, and massage, as well as financial assistance for patients unable to pay for their care.
“The Remembrance Walk offers a meaningful opportunity to celebrate the lives of those we’ve loved and lost,” said a spokesperson for Ohio’s Hospice. “It’s a time to come together as a community, share memories, and honor the lasting impact our loved ones have had on our lives. Each step we take is a tribute to their legacy and a reminder of the enduring bonds that connect us.”
Registration and T-shirt pick-up begin at 8:30 am, with the walk starting at 10 am. Memory Walk signs will be displayed during the event. Fruit and water will be available for participants. Awards will be given to the top individual and top team.
Registration fees:
