Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton to Offer Art-Based Grief Support Group in February
Having support during the grief process is one of the most important predictors of a healthy grief adjustment. For some people, the presence of supportive family and friends offers sufficient comfort. But many people find it helpful to gather with others who also have experienced the loss of a loved one.
At Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton, Pathways of Hope offers several grief support groups, including an art-based grief support group. These grief support groups are led by trained bereavement professionals.
The Art Forever After Group will be offered February through April on Thursday evenings, from 6:30-8:30 pm, at the William and Dorothy Yeck Family Grief Center on the Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton campus. This multi-generational, art-based grief support group provides the individuals, friends and family members the opportunity to make art with others.
To register and for more information, call Pathways of Hope at 937.258.4991.
