Personal Care Specialist Emily Eich recently received the Sunflower Award, presented to outstanding members of the Ohio’s Hospice staff every quarter as part of our Bouquet of Recognition Awards for going above and beyond in advocating for and serving patients. 

A hallway conversation resulted in Emily Eich being nominated for the Sunflower award.

“Last night I was out in the hall,” read the nomination. “I was very down and distraught.  Emily saw me and asked me if I was okay.  As I explained to her how I felt, I looked up and saw tears in her eyes.  She had tears in her eyes!  I could tell she really cared and had so much compassion. She works hard but took the time to make sure I was okay.  She deserves this recognition because she really cares. God bless you, Emily.”
