Annual 5k Remembrance Walk/Run to Benefit Ohio’s Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties
Ohio’s Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties, an affiliate of Ohio’s Hospice, is hosting its annual 5k Remembrance Walk/Run on Saturday, August 28, at 10 am, at North Park (195 Tamarack Tr., Springboro, OH 45066).
Proceeds from the event benefit the mission of Ohio’s Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties, a not-for-profit, community-based hospice serving patients in their homes, extended care and assisted living facilities, and Lorelei’s Place in Franklin.
“Through community support, we are able to celebrate the lives of those we have the privilege of serving, regardless of ability to pay,” said Sydney Truax, event organizer. “Participants’ involvement and support allows us to provide superior care and superior services to anyone in the community facing life-limiting illnesses.”
Registration begins at 8:30 am. T-shirts will be available for pick up at North Park from 8:30 am to 1 pm. During this time, memory walk signs will also be displayed along the path.
Please visit www.HospiceofBWCo.org/BWWalk21 to register as an individual or team. Register by Tuesday, August 10 to guarantee a T-shirt.
The presenting sponsor of the 2021 5k Remembrance Walk/Run is Greg and Patti Atkinson. The participating sponsor for the event is Kettering Health.
