Volunteers are truly the heart of hospice care.
From the beginning, volunteers have played a vital role as members of the hospice care team. Just like our patients, hospice volunteers bring a wide diversity of skills, cultural backgrounds and beliefs, offering these experiences and more to the fulfillment of our mission.
A Variety of Opportunities to Be Involved
All volunteers are provided training and an opportunity to identify the kind of volunteer contribution they are most comfortable with. Not all volunteer opportunities may be available at every location. Visit the volunteer opportunities page for a list of possible ways to volunteer.
We’re Looking For:
- People who care about the quality of life of terminally-ill persons and their loved ones.
- People who are responsible.
- People who enjoy life and who can come to terms with life’s realities.
- People who are mature and want to grow personally.
- People from every walk of life.
